Bicyclists are quickly discovering some of the finest bicycling in North America along a 1,100- mile network of bicycle routes, known as Lake Champlain Bikeways, in the Lake Champlain Valley of Vermont, New York, and Québec. The network includes a total of 26 loops ranging from 6 to 50 miles in length, in addition to the "Champlain Bikeway", a 350-mile principal route around the entire Lake and along the Richelieu River to Chambly, Québec.
